This is a free-standing piece.
This sculpture measures 12" tall, 4" wide and 11" long.
I created this carving in a very unique piece of driftwood. The base is made of highly-figured Curly Maple. The two pieces are attached via a piece of metal all thread.
I carve using rotary hand tools very similar to those of a dentist. Every piece that I create is unique and original. There will never be another carving just like this one.

His expression says most of it, and the material choice says the rest. This piece of driftwood is very rugged and natural, whereas the base is very sleek and polished.
All of my wood spirit carvings come with a signed and dated certificate that tells a little bit about me.

Custom and personalized orders
Yes, I sometimes take custom orders :) Contact me and we can discuss the specifics.
I really enjoy creating themed walking sticks such as Odin, Thor, Baron Samedi or many, many other possibilities. If you'd like a stick with bears, owls, or whatever else you might have in mind, just shoot me a message and we can discuss it.

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
