“Powder Post Penelope”

I carved this lady in a piece of Box Elder burl. There are many holes in the piece due to the past presence of powder post beetles. No worries though.. I hear treated this piece, so they are gone. Nature really created this piece. I just helped to reveal nature’s work.
Wall-hanging. There is a notch in the bag for easy hanging. I have signed, dated, and listed the name of the carving on the back. I include a certificate with all of my Wood Spirits.

I really enjoy creating themed walking sticks such as Odin, Thor, Baron Samedi or many, many other possibilities. If you'd like a stick with bears, owls, or whatever else you might have in mind, just shoot me a message and we can discuss it.
I am also happy to make custom chainsaw carvings of about any animal or object you'd like.

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
