“About A Girl”
10” tall, 4” wide, 2 3/4” thick
I carved this face using various hand tools, knives, grinders and sandpaper. She is finished with urethane and thinned, oils.
She is carved in a Pine knot. Knots are super hard and full of pitch. They make for beautiful carvings, but the carving process is very challenging.
I signed, dated, and notched the back for easy hanging.
I include a certificate with all of my Wood Spirits.
I put a lot into this piece. Carving beauty takes extra time. I really love how she turned out :)

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
