This is a wood carving of a bear. It is a chainsaw carving that makes a perfect wood gift.
I chainsaw carved this little bear in a piece of White Pine wood. I created this carving using a chainsaw, pocket knife, router bit and air brush. 95% of the work was done with a chainsaw. I just used the other tools to help bring this guy to life. It is finished with several coats of spray urethane.
This is a dry carving. This means that this carving is stable and will not split or crack. It takes a lengthy process to dry out a log but it is worth the time and effort to do so. This is a piece that will last forever.
This carving is 6 1/2" tall, 4 1/2" wide and 9 1/4" long. I made this carving from a single log.
This guy will look great on a kitchen table, office desk, bar, end table or any other area that needs a little extra happiness.

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
