This is a chainsaw carving of a tree in Cedar wood.
This is a hand carved woodworking made here in Ohio by me, Josh Carte. This lovely tree will make a great birthday or anniversary gift. It is a very unique wood sculpture. It looks great on your porch, in your yard, on your desk...It even looks great out amongst real trees.
This tree measures 10" tall, 6" wide and 4" deep. It weighs around 1 1/2 pounds.

I made this tree wood carving from a single piece of Cedar. Oh, what a lovely smell :) I began with a plain piece of a Cedar log and I shaped it into this wonderful tree using only a chainsaw. No other tools were used!
This carving is made of entirely dry wood. I dried it out using a special method that removes moisture, so the wood won't split over time, or leave any marks on the surface of which it is placed.
Be sure to view all 5 pictures of the carving. I took a picture from several angles of the tree. The primary picture is the view I most prefer :)
This tree is very, very detailed. It is quite tough not to cut the tree entirely in half when I am making them :) My forearms really burn when I'm finished with a tree like this!

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
