This is a chainsaw carving of a Whitetail Deer. The only carving tool I used for this piece was a chainsaw. No knives or chisels for this one. I also used a little sandpaper, some paint, and polyurethane. This carving is made in a piece of Red Pine.
This carving can hang on the wall, or be leaned against something to stand. It is 19” tall, 16” wide and 2” thick. I will sign and date the back, and I will also include a hanger. When you receive the carving, all you’ll need to do is find your favorite spot to display it :)
This carving will make a perfect gift for the deer hunter in the family! I added a cool drop tine to this buck, because everyone loves a drop tine!

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
