This is a pendant, hand carved in a piece of Fallow Deer antler. I used the burr part of the antler to create this unique and unusual piece of wearable art.

I created this carving using rotary hand tools, small knives, sandpaper, polyurethane and oil paint. I began chipping away at the piece of antler until the face I was hoping to see was revealed :)
The back will be signed and dated. I will include a black, leather necklace with the carving.
Everything in my shop is made by hand, by me, Josh.
I live and carve everyday here in Ohio. I love to venture out to my shop each morning, and spend my day creating.

Custom and personalized orders
Yes, I sometimes take custom orders :) Contact me and we can discuss the specifics.
I really enjoy creating themed walking sticks such as Odin, Thor, Baron Samedi or many, many other possibilities. If you'd like a stick with bears, owls, or whatever else you might have in mind, just shoot me a message and we can discuss it.
I am also happy to make custom chainsaw carvings of about any animal or object you'd like.

Care instructions
My carvings can be cleaned using many different methods. A feather duster works nicely. Compressed air (duster or air compressor) also works well. If on a porch or indoors, my carvings will never need a new coat of sealer. Chainsaw carvings that are outdoors will need a fresh coat of sealer each year.
